Um. So this blog is going to help me through my journey to a happier, healthier me. I want to lose weight and become more fit. What I hope to accomplish with this blog is just to document what I am doing and I guess inform people of my goals. I read that when you inform people that you are planning on losing weight or getting fit or really, whatever your goals are, then you are more likely to stick to them due to accountability. Makes sense. If you are the only one who knows what you say you are going to do and you don't do it then the only person who knows is you and you can justify it with whatever silly reason you have. But if other people know you are going to do something then if you don't then someone other than you knows that you failed to accomplish that task. And therefore you are more likely to do that. I am not entirely sure if that will work for me but we shall see.
